Johnmichael Zayas, Owner
Johnmichael Zayas brings nearly a decade of direct experience in behavioral health and academic settings. His clinical background includes working in crisis stabilization units, where he provided acute care to individuals experiencing severe psychological distress. He has also served in residential treatment centers specializing in addiction recovery, detoxification facilities, and correctional institutions as a corrections therapist.
Alongside his clinical work, Johnmichael has contributed to academic instruction as a teaching assistant at the University of Central Florida. In this role, he supported coursework in Physiological Psychology, Social Psychology, and Statistical Methods, further cultivating his dedication to education, evidence-based practice, and collaborative learning.
His professional and academic journey is firmly grounded in the core values of respect, authenticity, education, trust, and integrity. These principles guide his work and ensure he approaches each role with consistency, transparency, and purpose.
Clinical Psychologist
Maudy Sanchez, PsyD, Co-Owner
Dr. Maudy Sanchez is a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Albizu University in Miami, Florida. She brings over a decade of experience in behavioral health, with specialized training in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, trauma-informed care, and forensic mental health. Her clinical work spans a wide range of settings, including correctional facilities, state psychiatric hospitals, and community-based clinics, where she has served both children and adults with diverse and complex mental health needs.
Dr. Sanchez offers evidence-based psychotherapy as well as comprehensive psychological testing for diagnostic clarification, learning difficulties, ADHD, trauma, and cognitive functioning. Her areas of specialty include forensic populations, trauma, crisis management, and mood and anxiety-related disorders. She is particularly skilled at working with individuals navigating the intersections of mental health and the legal system, providing both clinical insight and structured assessment services to support treatment planning and goal development.
Whether providing therapy or conducting evaluations, Dr. Sanchez integrates a culturally responsive and person-centered approach, grounded in empathy, evidence, and advocacy. Her goal is to help individuals better understand themselves and move forward with clarity and confidence.
